Annual Kitten Shower
Just like a baby shower….. but for kittens! This is a donation based event where supporters help stock our Wildwood Kitten Haven nursery with the supplies needed to care for the orphaned, sick and neonatal kittens through the year.

Purchase items from our wishlist and have them sent to Wildwood Kitten Haven or drop them in our donation bin at Petco - Independence anytime during store hours.

Meet adoptable Wildlings, learn about neonatal kitten care, and support Jackson County’s neonatal rescue hub. Every visit helps save fragile lives and spread compassion in our community.
Holiday Break
ALL PETCO AND BROOKSIDE EVENTS HAVE BEEN PAUSED UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST OF THE NEW YEAR.
Wildwood is working with the Mo Dept of Agriculture to obtain our Rescue license. This is a super exciting time for us and we can’t wait to present our 15 foster kittens at the beginning of 2026.
Please know that our hard work continues all year long saving these precious babies. We do have donation bins in the entry way of Petco in Independence for product/food donations and you will find our donation jars at the following locations:

Brookside Barkery -Blue Springs
Classic Functional Health- Independence
Ballet Academy of Missouri -Blue Springs
As always, you may also donated through the donation page here on our website. ALL of your donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt immediately when donating online.
